My Experience

For most of my career I worked at my three generation family owned plumbing, heating and contracting company. This is where I learned about all of the components of residential and commercial buildings. I worked on old houses, new construction of houses, country homes, townhouses, condominiums and commercial buildings of all types. In 2009 I decided to make a career change to something that I could use my knowledge to help people,so I enrolled in Harford Community College for several classes, one of which was Home Inspection offered by the American Home Inspector Training Institute.

Continued Education

Continuing education is extremely important to Home Inspectors as the Maryland Commission of Home Inspectors requires a minimum of 15 hours per year in approved continued education credits to renew their Home

Inspector License. As an InterNACHI Certified Professional Inspector a member must complete 24 hours of continued education credits per year to maintain member in good standing status. I personally enjoy continued educational courses and often exceed the required amount of credits in order to further my knowledge to better serve my clients.


Inspection Reports

Quigley Home Inspections uses the latest technology in reporting software.

Using the information I gather during the inspection I create a detailed report that includes color photos and captions of the current condition of all of the home’s components. I email the report to the client within 24 hours of the inspection,often the same day.
